Toadstool Shadow is a family-friendly band out of Chillicothe, Ohio. We play mostly original folk music that is simultaneously silly, serious, and surreal. We generally play festivals during the day, not bars at night. We generally only gig from April through October. The band grossed about $15k in '25 and aims to do more in '26. For the 2026 festival season, we're looking for a good upright bassist (or at least acoustic bassist) who sings both lead and harmony. We just finished playing the Ohio Renaissance Festival and will focus on playing renaissance/medieval/pirate/Viking festivals in 2026. The band is Toadstool Shadow at www.toadstoolshadow.com.
