What do we buy?
We specialize in jazz (avant-garde/free jazz especially), punk, hardcore, indie rock, psych rock, prog rock, industrial, and experimental music. We also purchase classic rock, soul, international, pop, blues, and soundtracks. We buy CDs, cassettes, and vintage memorabilia like concert posters, shirts, and magazines.
What don’t we buy?
We typically avoid records from the 1940s-60s, including easy listening, big band jazz, crooners, musicals, comedy, and most classical.
How much do we pay?
We generally offer 50% of what we believe we can sell a record for, which is the industry standard. We’re willing to pay more for rare or high-demand records.
How important is condition?
Very important! We prefer records that are in great condition—no scratches, seam splits, stains, mold, or unpleasant odors. We require LPs to have their covers, but 45s can be without them.
